Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and pro-active students to work as Student/Subject Ambassadors and are holding a number of interviews in October. You don't need to apply beforehand, simply come along to one of these interviews and bring your application form and CV along with you.

Each sessions will be an interactive group interview and you will be expected to demonstrate your personal skills and professionalism with other candidates and University staff. We want you to represent the University confidently, talk with passion about your experiences here and be willing to interact with a diverse range of people on an individual or group basis.

All of the sessions will take place on the Ground Floor of the Atrium Building, please report to the cafe and you will be directed to the room.

Training

If you are sucessful in being given a Student or Subject Ambassador position then you will need to be available for the following training sessions:

- First Training session: Wednesday 01 November 2017, 5 - 7.30pm

- Open Event Training: Saturday 04 November 2017, 9am to 3pm

Students applying to be a Subject Ambassador will also be expected to attend a further session on Friday 10 November 2017.

Are there eligibility requirements for the event?

- This scheme is solely based at the University of Suffolk (Ipswich) and those students involved in the scheme will:

  • be registered for study at the University of Suffolk for the forthcoming academic year.

  • not be in breach of the Student Attendance and Attendance Monitoring Policy and to be making good academic progress on your course.

Students from all years of study are welcome to apply for the Student Ambassador posts.

Only exisiting 2nd and 3rd year Student Ambassadors or 2nd or 3rd year students hoping to become Ambassadors in 2017 scheme are eligible to apply for the Subject Ambassador posts. All posts are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
