Her previous role focused on developing new markets for CIPD and she spent 6 years leading regional development and engagement across Europe, Middle East and Singapore.

About the Session:

The CIPD are delighted to be attending the Tees Valley Student Awards, where we will be discussing the new CIPD Profession Map launched in November 2018 and which became the new standard for experience assessment and upgrading from 30 September 2019.

The new Profession Map sets the international standard for people professionals to make their greatest impact and thrive in a changing world of work. It sets out the defining purpose and values of our profession, together with the knowledge and behaviours required to put those values into practice.

With sections focusing on the essential core knowledge, core behaviours, for all HR professionals, and specialist knowledge for those working in these areas, it aligns to the CIPD purpose and values, takes into account the developments in ways of working and priorities, as well as new specialisms that have come into place since the last map in 2013.

This informative session will explore how the new profession map can help you:

• make better decisions

• perform at your peak

• progress in your career

• prepare you for membership upgrading

• act with confidence

• plan your CPD

• drive change in your organisation

Please note that the first part of the meeting will be dedicated to celebrating the success of Tees Valley students studying for CIPD qualification with the region’s accredited centres.
