Student Creative Writing Showcase
Tue 2 May 2017, 17:30 – 19:00 BST
From multi-award winning authors to students writing in their parents basement, grappling with ideas about life, love and the world around us, or just how to find enough money for a square meal. Either way, any act of creation is worth celebrating, and this is as good a place as any to do that.
The evening will include readings from students who have volunteered to take part. Each student will have a five minute slot in which they can perform their poetry... or micro fiction... or anything that fits the time frame. There will be time to drink, discuss and mingle after the readings.
So get your free ticket here and come along to the School of the Arts library on the 2nd of May to read, to listen, to enjoy and perhaps have a glass… or two of free wine after the readings.
