Student Mental Health First Aider Training - Brighton
This online course is part of the RCVS Mind Matters Initiative and is open to all veterinary students and nursing students in the UK.
About this event
We are launching our national student MHFA accredited training, and we are inviting both student vets and nurses from any year to participate, to support a good understanding of mental health from the very start of their veterinary careers.
The hope is that students will use their training from MHFA to recognise mental health issues amongst their peers and themselves. It will illustrate effective signposting to appropriate services and a greater understanding of mental wellbeing and illness while strengthening a culture of recognising the importance of mental wellbeing.
This training will give a MHFA certificate and qualification, will be delivered both in-person and through online training.
This course will be delivered by Mental Health First Aid England
