Event description
Presenting cutting-edge research in social work, along with opportunities to network across the whole social care community

About this event

Our conference is open to all so please book your free ticket to attend!

We begin at 10am in the Jane Austen lecture theatre in the Spark building on East Park Terrace. Colum Conway - CEO of Social Work England will provide the keynote speech on contemporary issues in social work, and will be introduced by Professor Karen Stanton - Vice Chancellor of Solent University.

Following the Keynote, delegates are invited into the Lower Atrium and break-out rooms to discuss with students some of the latest research they have identified in social work practise and policy.

This is a great opportunity to update your knowledge in these areas, but also to network and build contacts with community leaders, projects, social work practitioners, managers and social work educators.

If you are a social work practitioner, this is a CPD event where attendance certificates will be available.
