About this event

Our dedicated team of Student Support Officers can provide you with an opportunity to talk confidentially about matters that are impacting your wellbeing and performance at University.

They will also be able to give you initial academic advice and help you gain a basic understanding of the University's academic processes and regulations. A Student Support Officer can signpost you towards additional support or other facilities and services available at the University and support you in accessing these.

Type of appointment you might need

​Many of your queries can be answered by email and we would encourage you to use this option where possible using studentsupportofficers@northampton.ac.uk , be sure to include your name and student number so we can answer you fully. We appreciate that from time to time queries are more complex or personal so speaking to someone would be a better option. We offer a number of Telephone and WebEx appointments that mean you don't have to travel to Campus to get support. Please note that we are unable to telephone internationally. If a Face to Face conversation is more appropriate we do offer a limited number of appointments that are held in the Learning Hub.

Our appointments are run during term time and are available over the Telephone, via WebEx and limited Face to Face options . Each appointment will last up to 30 minutes.
