Study morning for newly qualified speech and language therapy practitioners and final year SLT students

About this Event

This study morning is being provided free of charge by the RCSLT North West Hub and is aimed at practitioner who are recently qualified and at final year SLT students who are preparing for their careers.New practitioners (up to 2 years post-registration) and students across the North West of England are welcome.

Our programme is designed to be a lively and interactive morning. You will hear some new and no do newly qualified practitioners talk about their experiences of starting off in the job. There will be talks from RCSLT about career pathways and from an independent SLT and an NHS manager about starting up on our new job. At the end of the morning there will be parallel sessions in which SLT practitioners will focus on the realities of working on the job with specific populations and engaging with research early in your career.
