About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As part of IHE’s training offer, we are delighted to open registration for our Students Complaints and Appeals session with Bevan Brittan. We are excited to announce that we will also be joined by speakers from Alkhemy.

This session will cover the role of staff in receiving, investigating and managing the processes for complaints and appeals, and explore how independent academic advice services can be practically implemented in alternative and private HE settings, with real-world insight from a recent pilot that Alkhemy have been running.

The session will also look at what students need, how institutions can respond with limited infrastructure, and why timing, tone, and trust matter most. Expect practical takeaways and a chance to reflect on what "good support" looks like in our sector. Alkhemy will also give members an invitation to carry on the conversation with them to explore partnership working in this space.

A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who attend.
