The course aims to enhance knowledge and skills of cranial osteopathy and is suitable for final year students and practitioners wishing to gain an understanding of and develop their skills more formally in the field of Cranial Osteopathy.
Through critical reflection on their clinical practice utilising the cranial approach and identification of areas for personal and professional development the module will examine the potential of the reflective process to enhance patient care and to support practitioners in their own development. The module aims also to develop the ‘critical community’.
For 2017 the course leader will be Ercilia De Marco. Ercilia has extensive training and knowledge of classic cranial techniques and will also introduce students to the biodynamic cranial model.
The course will meet Osteopathic Practice Standards A2, A5 and C2.
The course is open to final year students and alumni of the College of Osteopaths.
