Studio Portrait Photography Workshop
Mon 8 May 2017, 10:00 – 16:00 BST
Keith believes that the most important part of portraiture is capturing the very essence of people through an image. He believes that everyone has their own beauty and their own story, and that it’s a photographer’s job to portray that. Keith likes to connect with his subjects so that he can understand the true person beneath their image, and then bring that to the fore with a portrait, whether in the studio or on location.
The workshop is designed for photographers at all levels. Participants will learn about studio set up including studio lights and backdrops, as well as how to use studio flash and high and low key lighting. A professional model will be used for the shoot.
Keith’s studio portrait photography workshop will teach the art of creating stunning portraits, and build on his pupils’ confidence, to set the right tone and mood so that the subject feels comfortable, confident, and relaxed.
Workshops are limited to a maximum of 4 people so that Keith can give quality time to each individual. There will be numerous opportunities throughout the day for one to one time with Keith. Keith teaches in a practical way by showing, using simple, jargon free language.
