'I’m interested in the idea of dualism and the interaction of opposites. The relationships between the robust and vulnerable, transparent and opaque.Combining two materials in one object highlights their qualities through contrast. The sculptures have controlled, angular exterior forms, but the overall composition of the object is designed by the unpredictable interaction between the materials.'
