Event description

Description

Painter, sculptor, draughtsman, graphic artist, book illustrator, architect – the diversity of Henri Matisse (1869-1954) and the sheer variety of his oeuvre is inexhaustible. Across all these fields, Matisse produced some of the most original and significant works of the 20th century. This thorough examination of his work, led by Eveline Eaton, is designed to put into context the Royal Academy exhibition ‘Matisse in the Studio’.

Includes tea/coffee and biscuits, and lunch.
