Description

Inspired by the current Dorothea Tanning exhibition at Tate Modern, this Study Day at the Linnean Society led by Art historian and lecturer Linda Bolton, looks at women artists connected with the Surrealist movement which began in the early 1920s, and focussed on the random, the strange and the dream.

A light lunch, and coffee or tea with biscuits, will be served between sessions.

Linda Bolton is a National Gallery, Royal Academy and TATE lecturer and guide. She is author of many books on 19th and 20th century artists and art movements.
