Undergraduate Study in the US Seminar

Learn about the admissions process from experts in the field! This seminar offers an in-depth view of the undergraduate admissions process, providing a step-by-step guide to the application process, admissions exams (SAT, SAT Subject Tests and ACT), choosing the right institution, and funding opportunities. This seminar features an in-depth look at financial aid and generous student funding schemes available at US universities; it also features student speakers to talk about the Sutton Trust US Progamme.

Date: Tuesday 11 July 2017

Time: 4:30 - 7:30 pm (Registration will open at 4:00 pm. We kindly request you do not arrive earlier due to the lack of a waiting area available prior to the seminar)

Cost: Free to attend; but only open to students meeting the following criteria:

  • In years 10-13 at a state school or college. Students should ideally be entering year 12 in the autumn (or planning to take a gap year) as a minimum of 6-12 months is often needed in order to prepare for the US application process
  • On-track to achieve excellent GCSE results
  • Interested in exploring international study

Each person wishing to attend must register online ahead of the seminar. Registrations cannot be accepted on the day.
