Many of you will remember Peter Medhurst’s lovely Christmas musical lecture. Peter is a scholar, musician, and singer with a particular interest and expertise in early keyboard instruments of which he has a great collection. These will feature in his lectures on Nocturnes in Music and Art. He will start with John Field, the composer of the earliest nocturnes, and from there we will be taken on a musical journey with evocative art works as an accompaniment. Peter is a top notch lecturer and accomplished pianist. This study morning will be one of the highlights of the year. We do hope you will join us!
