Subject knowledge enhancement for KS3 non-specialist teachers of computing

This 5 day course will give teachers a basic grounding in computing concepts and computational thinking.

PROGRAMME

Outcomes: Dates:
Improve your subject knowledge of computing 25th Sept 2017
Develop a range of pedagogies to teach computing 31st Oct 2017
Develop confidence in delivery of computing 29th Nov 2017
Sessions will focus on effective pedagogical approaches to teach computing and apply relevant contexts for teaching the subject at KS3. 10th Jan 2018
Teachers will also explore a range of resources and avenues to support continued professional development in the field. 1st Mar 2018
