About this event

Tina Bettison has been writing on Substack consistently for the last two years. In this interactive session, she will take us through what it is (and what it’s not), and her own experience of using Substack (including types of posts, subscription levels, Notes etc). Tina will also share the key things you need to think about when deciding whether to set up a Substack of your own. Plus how you might make it work for you - whether you want to use it as part of your marketing/communication strategy or simply as a personal space to play.

This meeting is for Female Freelancers and Women in Business.

What is Substack?

Substack is an online platform that provides tools for writers and creators to publish and monetize their content, primarily through subscription-based newsletters, but also supporting podcasts, videos, and other forms of digital media. Creators can offer both free and paid content, fostering a direct connection with their audience and owning their subscriber list. Substack makes money by taking a commission on paid subscriptions.
