Successful Subject Leadership - A half day course from Wakefield NAHT

Wednesday 22nd May 2019

9am - 12.30pm including lunch (refreshments from 8.45 am)

Cost: £50 for NAHT/NAHT Edge members; £70 for non-members (£20 reimbursement to school if you join NAHT on the day)

Subject leadership and developing a broad and balanced curriculum are crucial and current areas in any school or academy. This course looks at what works in subject leadership to support teachers in the practical aspects of their everyday roles.

A practical course packed with tips which covers:

  • What should a subject leader be doing?
  • Setting a direction for your subject
  • What to do when? Annual, termly and weekly tasks
  • Making an impact and measuring it – systems for monitoring

About the speaker:

Craig Batley is an independent education consultant with over 25 years of experience of working in schools, including 18 as a senior leader. He has a proven record in school leadership and staff development.

The training is open to both members and non-members of NAHT so please do share widely with colleagues.

Do I need my membership number to book?

Is my booking transferrable?

Bookings may only be transferred at the discretion of the organising team. These will need to be made in writing to before the event. Transfers and cancellations may be subject to a charge.

Cancellation fees:

Within 20 working days - 25% charge

Within 10 working days - 50% charge

Within 5 working days - 75% charge

Within 2 working days - 100% charge

Does the name on the booking need to match the attendee?

The names of each individual attendee must be entered during the booking process along with a unique email address for each attendee as this will be used for the final confirmation.
