This free, online workshop is designed for construction businesses that are targeting (or thinking about targeting) the Public Sector Construction Market- across the Island of Ireland or Great Britain
The workshop is designed to help construction businesses improve their tender performance and outcomes – tender awards can come down to small scoring differences, and this workshop is focused on helping participants to ‘do their best work’ in preparing and submitting tenders for public sector construction contracts.
Sample content:
- Mapping the public sector construction market – some of the major opportunities
- Where to find specific tender opportunities (above & below threshold)
- Bid/No-Bid scenarios to help you focus on what projects to pursue in the future
- Some guidelines on establishing consortia & collaborative bidding
- Writing a winning bid / selling yourself throughout the bid
- Dealing with (relatively) new clauses including Environmental & Social Clauses
- Estimating & Pricing: Price weightings
On completion of the webinar companies will be eligible to apply for follow-on mentoring.
Eligibility Criteria:
In order to attend, companies must:
- Be classified as a SME (<250 employees)
- Have an office on the island of Ireland
