Speakers Bio

Kate Cunningham

Kate Cunningham is a passionate and pragmatic problem solver with extensive experience supporting organisations to become more inclusive. Her career spans museums, galleries, and arts venues through to universities, colleges, and workplace settings, where she has worked at the intersection of disability, access, and organisational practice.

She is the Head of Access Assessment Centres, a specialist provider of needs assessments that identify the support disabled students require to participate fully in, and succeed on, their chosen higher education course. Kate’s work focuses on translating policy and lived experience into practical, sustainable approaches to inclusion, and she has spoken to a wide range of audiences about disability, reasonable adjustments, and removing barriers to high performance in education and employment.


Alice Hastie

Alice is an Access to Work Specialist and Disability Inclusion Consultant with a deep understanding of the challenges disabled and neurodivergent people face when navigating workplace support. Drawing on her lived experience of chronic illness and career change, Alice offers clear, honest advice that cuts through complexity and empowers others to access the support they need to thrive in work.

Alice supports individuals, employers and service providers across sectors to better understand Access to Work, implement effective workplace adjustments, and reduce the stress and uncertainty surrounding disability support. She is known for her practical, compassionate approach and her ability to make confusing systems feel manageable.
