Have you considered HACT’s approach to social impact measurement within your organisation, but need support to embed the methodology? This masterclass focuses on the practical steps that will prepare you to embed social impact measurement in your organisation in the new financial year.
This workshop will take you through HACT’s Wellbeing Valuation Approach, helping you to consider social impact at a strategic level, from planning to reporting, with a detailed look at practical steps necessary to embed it successfully.
This interactive workshop will help you to:
Understand the background to social value measurement and the Wellbeing Valuation approach;
Develop and follow a theory of change;
Prioritize outcomes for measurement based on key business priorities;
Prepare for data collection;
Gather appropriate evidence using a systematic approach; and
Integrate the Value Calculator or Value Insight into your business.
Who should attend?
The training assumes no prior knowledge. It is aimed at those who have limited experience of social impact measurement and for those experiencing challenges in implementing the methodology.
Who delivers the training?
The Masterclass is delivered by HACT staff, including the Social Impact Advisers who are experts in Wellbeing Valuation and have worked with housing providers of all shapes and sizes to develop robust and systematic procedures for measuring the difference they make.
This training is based on HACT’s Wellbeing Valuation Approach and associated guide, Measuring the Social Impact of Community Investment: A Guide to using the Wellbeing Valuation Approach, to be used in conjunction with HACT’s Value Calculator and Practice notes.
