As business owners we can now see some light at the end of the tunnel as the pandemic restrictions lessen, so now is a great time to strengthen for the remainder of 2021 and beyond.

Utilising practical skills and exercises, you leave the workshops equipped with newfound knowledge, tools and tips that you can put into practise as soon as you step back into the workplace.

Once we have gone through the process with you, we will invite you to bring your current challenges and we will demonstrate to you how you can solve them using our process. About Alison Schreiber

Alison is Owner and Director of The HR Dept – Durham and The H&S Dept – Durham & Newcastle. Her businesses provide outsourced HR and Health and Safety advice and support to small and medium businesses across North East England, covering various sectors including manufacturing, retails, charity, hospitality and so on.

She has over 26 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry in a breadth of roles. Her accumulated experience includes 18 years in Human Resources roles and 13 years in Health and Safety (overlapping) but also working in other functions such as Research & Development, Quality and Environment.

Alison is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a Technical Member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health). She has lived and worked in UK, Germany and Spain and speaks fluent German and some Spanish, as well as her native English. From a personal point of view, Alison has a black belt in karate and enjoys genealogy, drawing, astronomy and reading. Her personal values place high importance on integrity, responsibility and a strong work ethic.

How is the event delivered?

Through a number of virtual workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to take advantage of peer to peer learning as well as network with other businesses, along with this there will be dedicated time for any one to one support.
