A 10 mile charity walk in beautiful Wharfedale using some of its finest country inns as waymarks.

About this event

The Manorlands Wharfedale Pub Walk 2021 has been postponed until Saturday 21 May, 2022.

Those who were already entered have been automatically transferred to the new date and entries for more people to sign up are now open.

The Wharfedale Pub Walk is a 10 mile walk in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales using lovely country inns as waymarks.

Starting in Threshfield, there are 6 refreshment points on route (4 of these are pubs), plus 4 more in the village of Grassington at the end of the walk. The pubs are The Old Hall, The Fountaine Inn, The Red Lion, The Clarendon, The Black Horse, The Foresters, The Devonshire Inn and Grassington House Hotel. The extra points are an ice-cream van and a cake stall.

The route is mainly on public footpaths through fields and on the bank of the River Wharfe. They will be well marked and maps provided but the route is self-guided and walkers are responsible for themselves at all times.

Bring the whole family and enjoy a beautiful walk in Wharfedale with the option to experience the many lovely pubs on the route.

Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

A map of the route can be found here.

Yes, dogs are allowed on the walk but please keep on a lead at all times.

Can children walk?

Yes. However, the terrain is not suitable for buggies and pushchairs so children must be able to walk or be carried. It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure the child is adequately fit and healthy to do the walk.
