About this event

Take on the Pen-y-ghent Peak

Complete this six mile trek in some of the very best scenery the UK has to offer.

This challenge is ideal for both groups and individuals. It’s a fantastic team-building exercise and hugely rewarding, helping to generate crucial funds for Sue Ryder's specialist end-of-life care and support.

Your kind support will help fill someone's last days with love and make sure that we can be there when it matters for the people we care for and their families.

Register your place

The £25 registration fee (per person) covers the cost of this event and so we ask that each member of your team raises a minimum of £100 for either Sue Ryder Manorlands or Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.

Your local hospice fundraising team will be on hand to help you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection buckets, banners, bunting and more to help you with your fundraising.

If you are signing up as a team of ten or more, please get in touch with your local fundraising team, who will be happy to help.

The minimum age for the Yorkshire One Peak Challenge is 8 years old. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness or the loss of a loved one – we’re there when it matters.

For over 65 years, our doctors, nurses and carers have given people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.

It will cost us around £48m to run our healthcare services next year. We expect to receive £30.4m in statutory funding, so we will need to raise £17.3m through donations or funds raised by incredible supporters like you.

84p in every £1 spent goes towards delivering specialist patient care and support in our hospices and in the community.
