This workshop will provide a step by step guide to determining which parts of your place of worship are the most important to maintain and conserve through small scale repair activity.

Funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and administered by Historic England, this workshop forms part of a series of workshops that will be delivered by The Churches Conservation Trust between 2018 and 2020 to support local groups to better manage their historic place of worship.

The workshops are part of the Taylor Review Pilot which aims to provide specialist support to worship communities in Greater Manchester and Suffolk.

Booking: This workshop is open to those who represent places that meet the eligibility criteria below:

- An active place of worship that is open for public worship at least 6 times a year

- Situated in Suffolk

- Listed on the National Heritage List for England (any grade)

- Open (or willing to open) for some form of public access in addition to regular worship times (special considerations may apply for buildings with security issues or where there are clear health and safety concerns)

Please note that bookings are limited to 2 delegates per place of worship. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Places have to be reserved before the workshop.

Getting to the church and parking: The church is a 20 minute walk from Lowestoft train station. There is free on street parking near the church.

Catering: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served from 9.30am and provided throughout the day. Lunch will not be provided, please bring it with you.
