Suffolk and Norfolk SCITT - 20th Birthday Celebration

To mark our 20th birthday, Suffolk and Norfolk SCITT will be hosting a celebration event - complete with canapes, birthday cake and bubbles!

We are very pleased to announce that our special guest, author Tom Sherrington, will be delivering the keynote address.

Tom is an experienced former headteacher and teacher, now running the popular teacherhead consultancy to explore and implement contemporary educational ideas that help deliver an excellent all-round education. In his new book ‘Rosenshine’s Principles in Action’, Tom amplifies and augments Rosenshine’s principles and further demonstrates how they can be put into practice in everyday classrooms. These principles are widely recognised for their clarity and simplicity and for their potential to support teachers seeking to engage with cognitive science and the wider world of education research.

As well as the keynote speech, the evening will give you the opportunity to hear about the career paths of some our previous SCITT trainees and give you time to network with education colleagues from across the county.
