Suffolk Coast and Estuaries Community 5th Annual Conference
Suffolk – towards a resilient future for our estuaries and coast
Friday 7 October 2016
Hoffman Building, Snape Maltings Concert Hall
The importance of resilience has never been so critical. We’ve seen communities in the north struggling to deal with huge volumes of flood water. In Suffolk the 2013 tidal surge is still sharp in our memories. We have many examples in our communities of people, wildlife and the environment adapting to change and building resilience. And yet there is more to be done.
This year’s conference aims to support people, communities and businesses to work together towards a more resilient future.
This year the conference will offer workshops to delegates. These workshops will be confirmed to those booked on at a later date.
While this conference is offered to delegates at no cost, the event does incur a cost per head to the organisers and partners. If you can no longer attend the event, please make us aware at least a week before the event so that we can cancel your place to reduce overall cost or to offer the place to another.
