Description
Purple, green and white were the colours of the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), the suffragettes who undoubtedly had an important role in the campaign for votes for women.
But the campaign for the vote was led by many women and over 50 separate organisations, with different tactics, motivations and colours. Find out about the unsung heroines and heroes who helped to campaign for this important change.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The entrance to Portcullis House is situated on the Victoria Embankment and the nearest tube station is Westminster (Jubilee and District lines). The entrance is marked as No 4 on this map http://www.parliament.uk/documents/facilities/maps/colmap.pdf
