About this event

Community • City & Town

We will meet in the Market Place in Wellingborough Town Centre and the walk starts promptly at 11.00am.

We will go at a leisurely pace covering about 1 mile over the fully accessible route on public pedestrian footpaths.

This is a town centre walk visiting places associated with the women's suffrage movement, including the differences within it. We describe events, famous campaigners who visited Wellingborough, prominent local activists and notable women "firsts" in public life.

The walk ends at 12.00noon back where we started.

When booking, can you ensure that you put the name and email address of the person who the ticket is for i.e. the person who will be attending. These walks normally sell out quickly so if you can no longer attend please cancel your ticket on eventbrite and someone else will be able to use it.
