Sufra is an Arabic word (صُفْرَة) that literally means "tablecloth" or "mat". However, in a cultural context, it refers to a traditional spread of food laid out on a shared tablecloth or mat for a communal meal. It embodies the act of gathering people together to eat, share stories, and connect, emphasising hospitality and community.
We will be cooking Palestinian recipes and sharing stories to raise funds, which will be donated directly to families in Gaza, as well as raising awareness of charitable organisations on the ground.
The food will be served family-style. As such, rather than individual tables, guests will share long tables with each other, with food passed around. Please note: Although everyone will be expected to share tables and food, we will not separate your party if you make a group reservation.
There will be vegeterian and vegan food available.
Unfortunately, due to the limited menu and kitchen space, we cannot cater for certain allergens or dietary requirements. We reserve the right to cancel any reservations we are unable to accommodate, so please get in touch if you have any concerns prior to booking.
