This session is designed to raise awareness of suicide in the workplace and equip attendees with the knowledge and confidence to support colleagues who may be struggling.

Attendees will:

  • Understand the risk factors and warning signs of suicidal thoughts
  • Recognise how workplace stress and mental health challenges can contribute to suicide risk
  • Learn how to have open, supportive conversations about suicide
  • Gain confidence in offering immediate support and signposting to professional help
  • Understand the role of employers and colleagues in suicide prevention
  • Discover local and national support services available for those at risk
