Suicide First Aid teaches the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting. We use only the most experienced suicide prevention trainers to deliver this unique learning experience. The course is for anyone who seeks greater understanding and confidence to intervene with people at risk of suicide.

Learning outcomes:

- Suicide behaviour; reasons and magnitude of the community health problem.

- Understand approaches and process of suicide intervention including desired outcomes

- Understand the importance of self-reflection and personal impact when working with suicide and people at risk

Attendance on this course is by invitation only

We take lots of factors into consideration when deciding who to invite to make sure that suicide prevention skills are built in the community. If you are interested in attending or know someone who would benefit, please get in touch explaining why at training@prevent-suicide.org.uk.
