Suicide Prevention in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Event Information
About this event
Trigger Warning – Please be advised this project will be discussing suicide, self-harm and factors that can lead to mental ill-health
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough councils and our partners are currently drafting the Suicide Prevention Strategy that will guide our approach to mental health over the next three years. If you are aged 18+ and live in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough, please join us to share your thoughts on how we can prevent suicide in our county.
We want to hear from:
• People who have had suicidal thoughts
• Survivors of attempted suicides
• Anyone who has lost someone to suicide
• Anyone who has cared for someone who has made an attempt on their life
• Anyone else with personal experience of suicide
• Anyone with an interest or desire to help prevent suicide in our county
We will be hosting the workshop online over Microsoft Teams. Support will be available during and after the meeting if you feel like you need to take a break or want to take a step back at any point. If you would like to share your thoughts but don't feel that an online meeting is appropriate for you, please contact joseph.davies@cambridgeshire.gov.uk to find a suitable alternative.
You do not need to prepare anything in advance - we just want to hear your opinions. We will send out the meeting link ahead of the workshop, along with any other information you need to know.
We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your involvement.
