Event description
The session will provide an overview of Suicide, Mental Wellbeing and its relation to the workplace.

About this Event

Developed and delivered on behalf of A Better Medway by Windmill Training and funded by the Kent and Medway STP, this training will cover:

Work, Mental Health & wellbeing: the importance of an overarching mental health strategy.

Suicide: at risk groups and occupations, the impact of suicide and the responsibilities that need to be addressed.

Suicide strategy guidance: The session will look at current resources to support managers/HR with mental health wellbeing and suicide. As part of the workshop delegates will have an opportunity to review and look at the mental health strategy within their own organisation and start creating the core elements that will be part of their suicide strategy.

Please only book onto this training if your organisation is based in Kent and Medway. Due to the popularity of the course, we have to restrict numbers to a maximum of 4 delegates per organisation.

Please be advised that this training is taking place at the Kent Invicta Chamber Offices, Sevington, Ashford TN24 0LH and not at the Innovation Centre Chatham. The course takes place in Chatham on 24th September.

When attending the training, please bring with you a copy of your organisation's policy relating to mental health, stress, wellbeing or suicide.

Refreshments will be available but please note that lunch is not provided at the training. Delegates are welcome to bring their own or make use of nearby facilities.

Parking is available on the site. Please observe signs and use designated visitor parking areas.
