Suicide Prevention Training

About this Event

About the training:

• Do you want to develop your assessment skills when working with people who may feel suicidal?

• Is this an area of practice that you might not feel as confident in exploring with service users?

• Suicide is not inevitable, and by working together we can achieve our national and local aim for Zero suicide.

This training has been shortlisted for an HSJ value award, and we now have an up and running team dedicated to training our workforce in suicide prevention.

This course aims to consolidate, develop and strengthen clinician’s awareness around the conversation, and the prevention of suicide. Providing clinicians with the skills and confidence to assess, identify and formulate risk plans as well as psychosocial interventions such as safety planning.
