What does the general admission plus book ticket option mean?

Accepted Answer

General admission plus book grants you access to the event with a copy of the book. Unless specified the book will be available for you to collect at the event. This option typically allows you to purchase the book a bit cheaper and have a copy to get signed by the author at our author events.

What does the Low waged/unwaged/striking/student ticket option mean?

At Juno books we aim to make our events accessible to as many people as possible and offer a free ticket option for those who need this in order to come along and take part in our events. Please select this if you are on a low wage, are unwaged, on strike or a student.

Question 4

How accessible are Juno book events?

Accepted Answer

Juno books has level access, evening events have low level lighting and a selection of chairs of different sizes with & without backs are available. Please let us know at hello@junobooks.co.uk if you need a wheelchair space and we can reserve this for you. Unfortunately the toilet is not accessible.

What can I expect at when I arrive at an author event at Juno books?

Accepted Answer

On arrival you will be offered a free drink from a selection of options. You can choose a seat. Please note, unless you have specified an access need it can be quite cosy/intimate because it is a small space with a maximum capacity of 25.

What will happen at a Juno Books author event?

Accepted Answer

Typically the host and author/s will be introduced by a member of the Juno Books team. The author will usually do a reading from their book and have a conversation with the host before opening up for audience questions. There will normally be opportunities for book signing and buying more books.

What should I do if I have bought a ticket and can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your ticket on eventbrite for a refund. You are encouraged to do this to free up space for other people to come along and take part.
