Sullom Voe and Yell Sound Master Plan Events
Event Information
Description
Throughput at the Sullom Voe Terminal is changing and the Shetland Islands Council are considering appropriate future use of Sullom Voe Harbour Area, including Yell Sound.
The Shetland Islands Council has engaged the NAFC Marine Centre to help create a Master Plan for the area, the Master Plan will guide planning and leasing decisions in the area. The Plan will also provide useful guidance for developers and reflect the needs of the local community.
To develop the Master Plan the team will be gathering insights about community objectives for the area and a broad assessment of opportunities for different types of development. To do that we are holding a series of events to which anyone with an interest in Sullom Voe and Yell Sound area is invited. Come along to share your ideas and aspirations for the area.
Refreshments will be provided.
