The SULSA Life Sciences Recruitment Day is FREE to attend and is open to ALL who are interested to transition into the Scottish life sciences industry!
You will have the opportunity to meet a variety of employers and organisations who will promote their internships and entry-level opportunities.
The event will also offer tailored skills workshops to support your application process (separate registration required!).
You do not need to be a trained life scientist to attend.
This event lets you:
- Get an overview of the broader life sciences sector in Scotland and a presentation of selected companies.
- Search and approach best fit companies.
- Meet company representatives who will be available to chat about their career journey.
- Understand possible career paths, learn about currently available roles and the transferrable skills needed to succeed in this industry.
The workshops will help you:
- To understand and market your transferrable skills (Workshop 1 and 3).
- To write your CV for life sciences companies (Workshop 2).
- To prepare for your interview (Workshop 4).
To attend a workshop, you first need to book a general admission ticket through Eventbrite. You will then receive the link to register for a skills workshop in your confirmation email.

Background and eligibility
The Scottish Universities Life Sciences Alliance (SULSA) is a strategic partnership between eleven Scottish Universities that aims to advance Scotland’s research and innovation in the life sciences.
This event is organised by SULSA, supported by Skills Development Scotland and Scottish Funding Council and funded by Scottish Government through the National Transition Training Fund. The event is open to residents in Scotland who must be over the age of 18.
