Leaders of fundraising operations often ask me to introduce them to their counterparts elsewhere.

However talented you are as a fundraiser, leading the function brings a set of problems which can be stressful and daunting when you face them alone.

What’s the solution?

The truth is, building a network and sharing challenges with people in the same boat is incredibly helpful, especially if you are a leader. So if you are a fundraising director, come and network with your peers and learn tried and tested strategies.

'I found the Breakfast Club incredibly helpful - both in terms of meeting people and sharing useful ideas. It was also uplifting and a great reminder of sound fundraising principles, as Rob's blogs and talks always are. I'd definitely recommend it.'

Alison Woolley, Head of Development, SOAS

The next Breakfast Club will take place on 19th June 8.30am – 11am, and will include the following:

  • Mid-value giving - The missing piece of your strategy? with Millie Perrett, Cancer Research UK and Charlotte White, Vivid Works. There’s an opportunity for increased income and satisfied donors that’s currently missed by most charities…it’s in the gap between the direct marketing experience offered to individual donors and the tailored, one to one approach taken with major donors. We have found there are some donors who respond enthusiastically to the best of both worlds and this shows up as increased income. You will leave with case studies, the impetus to explore the idea and key tactics to help launch your own programme.
  • Leaders must influence – three powerful coaching techniques that help your colleagues perform at their best, with Rob Woods. Every year Bright Spot fundraising/leadership coaches help more than 60 fundraisers, and to do so we practice deliberate strategies that help people get results. In this dynamic session, Rob will share three coaching techniques that you can use to influence colleagues, board members and donors.
  • NEW! An exclusive look at the Bright Spot Members Club – how the Ebbinghaus Effect destroys fundraising growth; and how the Members Club helps you continue to drive up income.
  • An unrivalled networking opportunity and solidarity. The chance to quickly build your support network at a senior level.

“The Breakfast Club is a brilliant idea – it was incredibly useful to meet other Heads and Directors of Fundraising, to share ideas and to grow my professional network."

Jennifer Coleman, Director of Development, Institute of Imagination

Join your peers for pastries, fruit and coffee from 8.30am. The programme will start from 8.50am.
