Summer bunting

You'll find a warm welcome at Chapel in the Fields, where you'll learn how to neatly make beautiful bunting to decorate your home or garden. All in the peaceful and inspiring surroundings of our converted Chapel

Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or a complete beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of seasonal charm to their space. At the Chapel we have a love of mending & repairing so this is a great chance to upcycle any favourite fabrics, bedding or tea towels that might have faded from 'best use'.... bring along any fabric scraps that you love ❤️ and we'll help you incorporate it into your bunting.

You're welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you'd like to familiarise yourself with it again, or feel free to borrow one of ours for the session.

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking on site?

Yes there is a small amount of on site parking for about 8 cars max. This session will only be a small group activity so we don’t anticipate any problem with parking.

I don’t have a sewing machine, is that a problem?

You're welcome to bring along your own sewing machine if it’s been sitting in a cupboard at home and you'd like to familiarise yourself with it again! …or feel free to borrow one of ours for the session. Just let us know in your notes at time of booking.

Is it suitable for children?

This session is aimed at adults. We do appreciate that some home educated families might like to come and learn sewing during daytime hours. Please do contact Vicky directly if that’s the case, and we’ll chat through some options of how to accommodate you according to your child’s specific needs.
