Bridge Ensemble Leeds performs at St Matthew’s Church in Chapel Allerton on Saturday 6th July, conducted by William Dutton. We are delighted to welcome Cansın Kara, Cellist with DR Symfoniorkestret, to play Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No.1.
The programe opens with the Yorkshire premiere of Morfa Rhuddlan by Morfydd Llwyn Owen, and closes with Brahms' might 2nd Symphony.
Our concerts are Pay What You Decide on the door – We don’t think cost should be a barrier to experiencing live orchestral music, so you can come for free, or you can make a contribution at the venue during the concert (in cash or online) to help us cover the cost of running the orchestra.
Each half of the performance will be (approx) 45mins long, with an interval break in between. Light refreshments are served during the interval. Toilet facilities are available in the church building.
Parking on church grounds is limited but there is plenty available on surrounding streets.
