Wild Pickle is excited to be bringing another workshop to BareHealth in Congleton.
Let's explore the world of fermented drinks!
There are just so many flavours to explore and the taste of fermented drinks beats any shop bought hands down and the choices are endless! What's even better is that they can be beneficial for us too...
Where to start?!!
Come and settle in with a kombucha! And let's make some....
Kombucha, a fermented sweetened tea drink is fast becoming the biggest and fastest selling alternative to alcohol and fizzy soda drinks. We will explore the age old world of Kombucha and make a brew for you to take away with you with your own starter kit. We cover how to make a brew, amazing flavourings, carbonation, storage, what to use to make your boocha.
Ginger Bug has to be an absolute hit and wonder! There will be a simple of demonstration of this fermented drink and a chunk of organic ginger for you to take away to start making your own.
It does not end there!
Meet Tibicos, or water kefir, this is a traditional fermented drink made with water and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts, this makes amazing drinks.
Fruit Kvass, another easy to make summer fermented drink to quench your thirst, will be demonstrated to show you what else you can make with simple ingredients.
There will be lots of tasters of drinks and food to nibble on, books to inspire you and instructions to guide you.
Wild Pickle offers on going support and access to a group facebook page for further help and advice.
