Description

NiK Kacy, in conjunction with the LA Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, has produced a unique Summer LGBTQ Pop-Up Bazaar at the Charles Jacobsen antique furniture showroom in Culver City to benefit the LAGLCC and the Tegan and Sara Foundation. Members of the Chamber, as well as other LGBTQ-owned businesses, will create a community pop-up experience, bringing products and services from all over SoCal and beyond to Los Angeles for ONE DAY only. Local performers will entertain and share their talents as well as giveaways/raffles to support both organizations. There will be a hosted bar (provided by TBD) and 100% of proceeds from all funds raised will be equally split between the LAGLCC and the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which provides much needed services and visibility for women and girls of the LGBTQ community.

Date: Saturday August 12th
Time: 11am - 3pm
Price : Attendance is open to the public and entrance fee is tiered by suggested donation to benefit the Tegan and Sara Foundation, as well as, the LA Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Please see our EventBrite page to purchase ticket.

Vendor Info: Open to ALL vendors who are either LGBTQ owned or providing products for the LGBTQ community. A $50 minimum vendor fee is required to help support this benefit. Please contact nik@nikkacy.com upon registration to let us know if you need a table or can bring your own table. We also suggest vendors to donate 10% of their sales at the end of the event, if possible. To sign up as a vendor, please go to our Eventbrite page and purchase a Vendor Ticket. Thank you.

About Us:
The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (LAGLCC) is the premier advocate of the Los Angeles Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender business community, representing hundreds of businesses in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce advances common business interests, economic growth, and equality in the workplace and society for its LGBT members, businesses, and allies by providing educational, networking, and community building opportunities.

The Tegan and Sara Foundation's mission is to fight for economic justice, health and representation for LGBTQ girls and women. They are committed to building community between LGBTQ women by sharing skills, experience and knowledge in order to attain pay equity, greater representation and achievement.

Charles Jacobsen, Inc is an antique furniture showroom in the heart of Culver City, CA. They are NGLCC certified and a member of the LAGLCC and have generously donated their space for this event.

NiK Kacy, is founder of NiK Kacy Footwear, a company who's mission is to impact positive change one-step at a time by creating beautifully crafted, high quality gender-equal footwear and accessories. They are NGLCC certified, a member of the LAGLCC and have produced this event to provide Southern Californians with access to LGBTQ businesses while concurrently raising much needed funds for both the LAGLCC and the newly launched Tegan and Sara Foundation. Together we can make a difference and change the world!
