🎨Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to reconnect with your creative side, this relaxed session is open to everyone. No experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and a willing pair of hands.

✏️ Drawing is the first step to painting, and this is a great opportunity to explore your artistic potential in a supportive environment.

👩‍🎨Guided by expert art tutor Anji Richards (@egokookie), this portrait class is designed to ignite your desire to draw like a professional.

🪄 In this 90-minute session, you'll be drawing from a photograph, so bring along a cherished photograph of a family member or of a friend - it's totally up to you - and learn techniques that will help you bring your subject to life.

You will learn the techniques and foundations to help you achieve a better understanding of how to draw someone’s portrait well.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

✔️Learn to draw a portrait based on a photograph

✔️ Have a portrait drawing to take home

✔️ The opportunity to have your drawing framed for an extra cost.

If you love our taster sessions (and we are sure you will) or are interested in a more long-term option, you can also sign up for our 6-week beginner's drawing class in September. Where you will learn to draw from a life model and from still life set-ups. All materials will also be included.

By the end of this course in September, you will be able to:

✏️ Draw using line, mark making, brush and tone, in a variety of speeds and mixed media, plus have a greater awareness of drawing and painting form

✏️ Draw with the understanding of light and shade
