Summer Schools: Paper folding, puzzle solving (age 7–9)
Wed 26 July 2017, 10:30 – 12:45 BST
There are many interesting mathematical shapes that can be made using paper or card. With Katie Steckles, students will look at some fabulous objects they've never seen before and have a go at building them–using their mathematical thinking skills to work out where everything goes!
Please note: This workshop is strictly for 7–9 year-olds. There will be a short break during the workshop and a drink and a small snack will be provided. Students should bring their own snack if they have any allergies
The Mathematics Summer School workshops are based on Ri Mathematics Masterclasses. Students who have attended a Masterclass series which included a session on a similar topic may have already seen some of the content in this workshop. Please contact us on email@example.com with any questions.
Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (fourteen calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
