As the progression classes pause over the summer months, these sessions are offered to continue sewing practice and skill development. Participants will engage in cutting and making bags, bunting, aprons, shorts, cushion covers, fabric baskets and other items. It is also possible for you to bring a personal project.
NOTE: with individual projects - please consider the level of sewing you are at currently and that I will not be able to dedicate all my time to you individually. So if you are thinking of doing this, show me the pattern beforehand so I can see if it is possible. For personal projects you will be responsible for buying all materials and sundries.
I will provide materials for the prepared activities. You do not have to attend all of them - or even any! There is a discount if you book a block of 5 or 7(evening only) which is only available up until the first session. Or you can pay for the individual weeks that you can make it. I do need you to pre-book so I can keep an eye on the numbers.
This class accommodates all skill levels, so prior attendance of other classes is not required -you must know how to use your sewing machine, how to wind a bobbin and sew in a straight line. I will not be teaching you to sew.
Set in the beautiful studios at Coda Music & Arts Trust.
Ticket options: Individual Drop In tickets available for £18 per session, or you can buy a block of 5 for £75 or block of 6 for £90
This is for the session at 18.30 on the 19th August
