Summer Sketching Walk

Raincliffe and Forge Valley Woods are the largest community managed woodland in England. The woodland comprises a National Nature Reserve, has extensive designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is home to nationally rare flora and fauna, and has over 200 historic environment and built heritage features covering 4,000 years of human interaction with the landscape. The woodland also provides a sanctuary for people looking to escape the stresses and pressures of modern life, contributing to the improved health and wellbeing of our communities.

Our events will aim to connect people with nature on their doorstep and raise awareness of the biodiversity crisis, whilst promoting positive engagement to enable people and nature to thrive.
