Archives for London warmly invites you to this year’s Summer Soirée at Guildhall Library - ‘the library of London history’.

Join librarians to learn about the history of the original Guildhall Library, the collections and its transformation into a modern library, housing both library and archive collections. There will also be a chance to view some of their oldest and rarest items, from 13th and 14th century manuscript books, incunabula to Victorian sensationalism.

When: Thursday 7th August, 6-8:30pm (doors open at 5:45pm)

Location: Guildhall Library, Aldermanbury, London EC2V 5AF

Cost: £10 for Members, £15 for Non-Members (includes drinks and nibbles)
