Event description

Description

Join us as we celebrate the summer solstice on the longest day of the year for our latest Netwalk edition.

Guests to meet outside the main entrance of the Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts at 9am for check in. At 9:15am we will set out on a 45-minute guided stroll around the UEA Lake and wildlife trail by the River Yare, while you can meet & chat to new business contacts.

Following on from our walk, there will be refreshments including fresh coffee, teas and a selection of cakes in the café at Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts. Finishing around 10.45am you'll return to your office feeling refreshed after your walk.

The cost of a ticket is £10.00 with all proceeds going to EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices). The event is particularly supporting Quidenham which is a local hospice EACH runs that provides care and support to children and young people with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs, and their families.

To help support EACH and Quidenham we are asking for all Netwalk participants to bring with them optional donations for the hospice, suggested items being:

Sticker books, Packs of stickers, Play doh, Bubbles, Water balloons, Normal balloons, Rubik Cube, Game of ‘Jacks’, Mindfulness colouring books – suitable from 5+ up to adult, Books – baby/toddler/pre-school/school age (for the younger ones, books that make noises are ideal!), Puzzles, Current DVD’s, Story CDs, Rattles, Toy Cars, Barbies & Dinosaurs.
