Summer Solstice - Sound Bath to Release & Restore

Adalet from The Holistic Therapy Rooms will guide & lead you, escaping the busyness of everyday life. Inviting you into a space to unwind, and a time to feel nurtured and supported.

Allow your mind and body to surrender as the sound from the Gongs, Quartz Crystal & Alchemy and Himalayan Singing Bowls resonate through you taking you into that deeper and peaceful space.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you are new to Sound Baths or whether you have experienced a Sound Bath or a Gong Bath in the past. I welcome you into this space.

You will be bathed in sound as the sonic frequencies from the gongs stimulate your brainwaves into a dreamy/sleep like state. A time for insight, clarity and release.

Benefits of a Sound Bath or Gong Bath:

• Helps to regulate the nervous system, calming to the mind, can support sleep.
• Regular sound baths can help to lower blood pressure.
• Helps to release emotional and energetic blocks. A time to let go.
• Releases tension stored in the body
• Can help to release what no longer serves us, changing old and outdated behavioural patterns and habits, ultimately enabling us to feel more zen more of the time...

What will you need to bring to a Sound Bath?

You will find it more comfortable to lay down.

* Bring a Yoga mat

* A throw/sleeping bag and cushion for your warmth and comfort. Get cosy!

* A crystal if you wish to receive additional healing energies during the session

* A bottle of water to help keep you hydrated.

* An eye mask

* Dress warm in comfortable clothing.

Then close your eyes, remove all expectations, take a deep breath in and allow the sound journey to commence...

Timings:

Doors to the hall will open at 7pm and close strictly at 7.15pm. (No entry before 7pm).

We will close the event with Complimentary refreshments which will commence after the 90 minute Sound Bath ends, so please allow for some additional time to ground, nourish and mingle.

Contraindications & additional notifications:

Please notify Adalet in advance if you have any metal implants or pins. If you have a hearing aid, or if you are pregnant as Aromatherapy Oils might be used.

* If you have Tinnitus, you may wish to lay further back from the Gongs.

* If you have any sensitivities to sound and/or Epilepsy please discuss in advance to purchasing your ticket.

* If you are pregnant, and after the 1st trimester, please bring plenty of cushions (from feedback - large full body maternity/pregnancy U-shaped pillows) in addition to a mat and throw for your support and comfort whilst laying in a sideline position.

Advanced booking required as places are limited. There will be no on the door tickets.

The Roberts Hall, Woodford Memorial Parish Church Memorial Hall, 209 High Road, South Woodford, London E18 2PA.

South Woodford is on the Central Line and a short 20 mins by tube from Liverpool Street station and only 15 or so mins from Stratford London.

Parking in South Woodford should be available on the High Road or nearby residential roads. Alternatively, there is a car park on Derby Road (with free parking evenings and weekends) which is a short walk away.

South Woodford tube station is on the Central Line (Epping/Loughton branch) and a 15 minute walk away if arriving by foot. Bus stops are nearby and can be accessed from the tube.

Buses also serve from Chingford.

For those familiar with South Woodford, the venue is a few mins walk from Waitrose in South Woodford.

About your Facilitator:

Adalet qualified in a number of Energetic Healing Modalities from 2002 from Reiki Masters and Shamanic practises in Thailand and has further evolved and broadened her skills with qualifications in Reflexology (AOR), Holistic Massage & Aromatherapy (MIFA).

From there The Holistic Therapy Rooms was born in 2010 and grew with additional certifications in Crystal Healing, The Munay Ki Rites, Cacao Ceremonialist and other modalities.

Adalet qualified as a Gong Master Practitioner back in 2018 (accredited) and has since trained with many respected teachers both in the UK and overseas. Adalet also has a CMA accreditation as a Bowls Practitioner with the College of Sound Healing in both Himalayan and Crystal Singing Bowls.

Adalet is currently deepening her Shamanic way of life and studies. She is 3 years into her studies on a Peruvian Medicine Wheel.
